Apple and cinnamon muffins

This muffin has the perfect balance between cinnamon and apple, perfect for Fall!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of flour (150 g)
  • 2 tsp of baking powder (9 g)
  • ½ apple
  • 1/2 cup of milk (120 g)
  • 3 tbsp of brown sugar (40 g)
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp of butter (40 g)
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 360ºF
  2. Melt the butter in the microwave.
  3. In a bowl, pour all the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, brown sugar, cinnamon and salt and mix.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients: milk, egg and butter. Mix until combined.
  5. Peel and dice the apple. Add it to the batter and mix.
  6. Pour the batter into silicon muffin molds.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes.
