Easter cookies

Prep time : 15 min – Cook time: 10 min – For 10 cookies

  • Ingredients 
  • 5 Tbsp butter at room temperature (65g)
  • 1/3 C sugar (65g)                          
  • 1 C flour (115g)
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 egg yolk


  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. In a bowl, with your hands mix together the butter, sugar, flour and salt.
  3. When you have a crumbled texture, add the yolk and mix until having a ball of dough.
  4. Between 2 sheets of parchment paper, spread your dough with a rolling pin until having a thin layer of dough. (About 1 inch) Or use your hands to flatten the dough between the sheets of parchment paper.
  5. Cut your cookies with a cookie cutter and set them on a baking tray covered with parchment paper. (You can use a spatula to remove them from the table).
  6. Bake for about 10 min into the oven (depending on the cookie thickness).
  7. Decorate with icing (See recipe below)
